When picking a color palette for your wedding day, blush and blue is always a classic. This color story is soft, romantic, and perfect for all seasons. Our couples day started inside Firefly Gardens, in Midlothian, Texas. This is a gorgeous venue right outside of Dallas, Texas, with over 8 acres of beautiful land. There are multiple sites at this venue, including the white modern barn, that was the backdrop for the reception. This gorgeous barn has large crystal chandeliers, a whitewashed brick wall, and a huge wall of windows that provided the most beautiful light.
Blush and Blue Wedding at Firefly Gardens
Lyons Events created a gorgeous design, as well as beautiful handmade stationery. The tables were covered in white linens, with silk runners, that were the perfect shade of dusty blue. Elise from Prim and Lovely created beautiful centerpieces and floral arrangements, filled with shades of cream, blue and purple. They also created a stunning greenery backdrop for the cake, made by Loft22Cakes. This cake was one of my favorites to photograph! It had sea glass, pieces of gold, and hand-painted texture.
The bride’s gown was made by Elizabeth Leese Bridal, a custom gown designer in Texas. She wore Emilia from her 2019 collection, which had a romantic silhouette and floral details at the waist. The gown has a soft lavender hue, that made it so unique! To complement the low back of the gown, the bride’s hair was up in a soft bun.
After the wedding, the couple had a 1957 Skyliner Convertible as their getaway car, complete with a Just Married sign, and greenery. Firefly Gardens has so many beautiful spots, and is perfect for a vintage car getaway!
